CCS offers 15-minute phone consults to discuss your needs and options for using our service. After selecting a day and time using the link below, a clinician will call you at that designated time to determine whether your needs are best met at CCS or elsewhere. The call will show up as unlisted or unknown on your phone for privacy. If you do not get a call within 5 minutes of your scheduled time, feel free to call our front desk at 317-940-9777. If you do not answer the call, you will need to schedule another time since CCS will not re-contact you. If you cannot find a time online, please either 给皇冠投注办公室打电话 to get a phone consult scheduled or check back the next day, since new appointments will be added to our web portal each day.
通话期间, you can expect us to ask about your presenting concern and ask some questions to clarify the risk level and severity of your situation. Our goal using these phone appointments is to more quickly be able to point you in the right direction for help, which will typically be our service for brief individual or 团体治疗, a single session consult with a clinician, or a referral to a community resource that is a better fit than CCS.

CCS provides a wide range of therapeutic interventions for 皇冠投注 students. These interventions are delivered in a brief therapy model that focuses on helping students make a desired change or reach a specific goal.
When a student’s needs require a different type of care than what we can provide, we will partner with the student to transition their care to resources in the community. Our goal is to make the best match between the needs of students and appropriate services. A few common examples of when a transition of care might be necessary include:
- A need, or request, to be seen more than once a week for therapy
- A need, or request, for uninterrupted care across semesters or academic years
- Psychological testing for accommodations through Student Disability Services
- Requests for letters of support for emotional support animals or housing exceptions
- A need for a more intensive level of care or specialized care
If our service does not appear to meet your needs, consider using our ThrivingCampus resource to locate appropriate off-campus providers.
During the first appointment, your therapist will allow you to share information about yourself and also ask questions to better understand your concerns. Initial appointments generally last 45-50 minutes.
After the initial appointment the CCS staff will meet to determine what type of treatment will best meet your needs (individual therapy, 团体治疗, or a referral to another provider). You will receive a call from the staff regarding your next step typically at the end of the week in which you did your initial appointment.
If you are seeking advice or information rather than ongoing therapy for yourself, you may also set up a one-time consultation session or meeting with a therapist. Students often come in seeking support on how to help friends/roommates with concerns or to inquire about what kind of services/resources are available for a particular issue, 比如性侵犯, alcohol and drug problems, 或者饮食失调. We can also consult with you to provide additional assistance with referrals off campus if you cannot get your needs met using our online resource, ThrivingCampus.
